Vice-Chair
Dr. LaShawnda Washington currently serves as Vice-Chair of the Nash County Public Schools Board of Education. As the Director of College and Career Readiness at Edgecombe Community College, she has over 17 years of experience in the field of education.She holds two Bachelor's degrees, three Master's degrees and a doctorate degree. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and traveling. She is also a member of the Braswell Memorial Library Board of Trustees and the Turningpoint Workforce Development Board. I'm honored to be a part of STEP and I look forward to supporting the mission of the partnership.
